BMC Bling

Just arrived in-store.

2011 BMC RM01 Racemachine

Designed as a pure race bike, the RM01 Racemachine has replaced the successful SLX01 as BMC’s Sprinters bike. Suited to the strongmen!

Whilst oversized tubing and shaping dominates it’s styling; the frameset weight is still svelte at 1019g in a 55cm, with the fork at 361g with an uncut steerer.  The included proprietary seatpost is 180g with hardware.  All in all, along with the headset the frameset weighs 1670g.  Damn!

It is not until you closely look at BMC bikes that you notice the amount of tube shaping and detail that goes into every one of their frames.  Carbon cable stops, the shaping around the crown of the fork and the sheer size of the bottom bracket area are all very impressive.

Specced with a Sram Red BB30 build and Easton EC/EA70 cockpit it has cut no corners.  Easton’s fantastic EA70 wheelset compliments the bike perfectly.

At 6.9kg as shown and selling for $6199 it is a bargain!
